January 12, 2010, Calgary, Alberta - Entero Corporation (Entero), developers of MOSAIC^TM asset management software, today announced a MOSAIC^TM software donation valued at $700,000 to SAIT Polytechnic. A student scholarship for Bachelor of Applied Technology Petroleum Engineering (BAPT) students in SAIT's MacPhail School of Energy has also been established.

"This donation will benefit our students as well as industry. The more skills our students have using industry-accepted software, the more marketable they become after they graduate from SAIT," says Mary MacDonald, Dean of SAIT's MacPhail School of Energy. "We are grateful to industry partners like Entero for supporting the hands-on technical training that SAIT provides."

Each semester, over 200 students in SAIT's Petroleum Engineering Technology diploma and Bachelor of Applied Technology Petroleum Engineering degree programs will now have access to MOSAIC software for their classroom studies and projects, giving them hands-on training in budgeting, evaluations & acquisitions, and reserves management processes.

"With Entero MOSAIC, students in Reservoir Engineering studies can develop in-demand skills such as forecasting recoverable reserves and evaluating petroleum projects using the same up to-date software as leading oil and gas companies," said Mike Lake, EVP Entero MOSAIC. "It feels great to provide advanced technology and financial support to tomorrow's industry leaders."

Along with the software donation, Entero has established an annual student scholarship at SAIT's MacPhail School of Energy. The scholarship will be awarded to a Reservoir Engineering student achieving educational excellence. Preference will be given to students with financial need, a Computer Science background, and experience in the Canadian oil and gas industry.
