Educational fit needed for a good startFebruary 5, 2010, Calgary, Alberta – SAIT Polytechnic is hosting an Open House today and tomorrow designed to help prospective students find the right educational fit. “Open House is a great way for people to become more familiar with SAIT,” says Gord Nixon, Vice President Academic. “We have sessions that will help prospective students determine which career path is the best choice for them as well as faculty members on hand to answer questions about program options.” SAIT’s Open House has program information in the areas of: Business, Construction, Energy, Health and Public Safety, Hospitality and Tourism, Information and Communication Technologies, Manufacturing and Automation, and Transportation. Applied research examples, fun health activities, delicious culinary samples and the chance to “try a trade” are among some of the many activities set up on SAIT’s campus during Open House 2010. A new information session called Start Smart @ SAIT has been added to provide free information sessions to help people determine which career path would be the best choice for them.
